Psalm 145:8
Thank You, GOD, for Your GREAT LOVINGKINDNESS
“The Lord is gracious and merciful; Slow to anger and GREAT IN LOVINGKINDNESS.”
Many people have never felt that they were the object of someone’s love; and especially of their great love. But if we’re Christians, we must recognize that we are. God showed great lovingkindness toward us in sending Jesus to rescue us from hell. We’re the recipients of God’s GREAT LOVINGKINDNESS. That’s a reason to praise Him!
LORD, we rejoice and praise You who are GREAT in LOVINGKINDNESS! Thank You for Your love. Thank You for Your kindness. Thank You for Your GREAT LOVINGKINDNESS!
You can record your thankfulness to God for His GREAT LOVINGKINDNESS in the Meditations, Notes, and Prayers section of Prayers of My Heart.

GREAT IN LOVINGKINDNESS
“The Lord is gracious and merciful; Slow to anger and great in lovingkindness.”
Psalm 145:8
Many people to not know what it means to love or be loved. But we do. Perhaps not from another person. But if we are a Christian, then we have acknowledged God’s great lovingkindness in sending His Son to die on the cross for our sins. No greater love has a man than to lay down His life for a friend. And that is how Jesus demonstrated His love for us. GREAT IN LOVINGKINDNESS. That’s our God!
LORD, I rejoice in Your GREAT LOVINGKINDNESS!

SLOW to ANGER
“The Lord is gracious and merciful; Slow to anger and great in lovingkindness.”
Psalm 145:8
What if the later half of Psalm 145:8 read the opposite: The Lord is great in anger and slow in lovingkindness? Wouldn’t that be horrible? But that’s not what it says. Instead, it explains to us that God is slow to anger; not fast. I’m so thankful. Aren’t you?
Lord, I praise You for being SLOW to ANGER. You are a gracious and merciful God. I love You and thank You!
