SENT BY GOD

 “For I have come down from heaven, not to do My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me.” 

John 6:38

Amazing words. Jesus, explaining Himself, said that He had not come down from heaven to do His own will, but the will of Him (God, the Father) who sent Him. If we have any hope of comprehending God’s love for us, it will come by meditating on this verse. God the Father gives His most beloved Son to ransom us. God the Son goes further than any of us would do for someone else. Jesus, was sent by God – down from heaven – for us.

God, the Father, and Lord Jesus Christ, SENT by God, thank You for loving me, seeking me, sacrificing all for me, and saving me!
