Praise to WONDERFUL God
“Remember His WONDERFUL deeds which He has done…”
It’s easy to get down in the dumps and feel sad. Life hardly ever goes according to plan. It can be filled with one disappointment after another. But, 1 Chronicles 16:8-12 reminds us to keep our focus on God.
Give thanks to the Lord, call upon His name. Sing to Him, sing praises to Him. Speak of all His WONDERS.
Glory in His holy name; Let the heart of those who seek the Lord be glad. Seek the Lord and His strength; Seek His face continually. Remember His WONDERFUL deeds which He has done, His marvels…
Disappointing cirucumstances may overwhelm us. But, rather than focus on them, focus on God. Write down the ways He has shown Himself to be WONDERFUL. If your heart and mind are too sad to think, look back through the character traits of God on which we’ve daily focused. Glory in who God is and that He can right wrongs, forgive sins, give do overs, and is always present with us.
Heavenly Father, we praise You for the WONDERFUL God You are. You’ve done so much for us; including… (Record ways God has been wonderful to you in your “Prayers of My Heart” journal in the Meditations, Notes, and Prayers section.
