Why Bother Worshipping Our Heavenly Father

LISTEN

Do you ever wonder, “Why bother praising God?” If so, Isaiah 40:21-22 & 25 explain why.

Do you not know? Have you not heard?
Has it not been declared to you from the beginning?
Have you not understood from the foundations of the earth?
It is He who sits above the circle of the earth,
And its inhabitants are like grasshoppers,
Who stretches out the heavens like a curtain
And spreads them out like a tent to dwell in. (vs 21-22)

To whom then will you liken Me, that I would be his equal?’ says the Holy One. (vs 25)

God makes it clear that no one is equal to Him. He calls us to lift up our eyes and see the heavens He created. What does this mean for us? It means we are not alone. It means that nothing is too difficult for God. It means our Heavenly Father deserves our worship.

Lord God, we worship and praise You, eternal creator, wise and powerful beyond our imagination. Thank You for caring for us, loving us, saving us, and preparing a place for us to be with you for eternity. We love You!
