P.R.A.Y. with Passion is a conference you’re taking across the nation. How did this conference start? Is it based on one of your books?
The conference is a result of God placing it on my heart one morning at 4 a.m. It’s been a blessing to watch how it’s developed. Yes, it’s based on two of my books, “Pray with Purpose, Live with Passion” and “Prayers of My Heart Prayer Journal.”
Why do you think God prompted you to begin a project of this magnitude at this time?
There is a prevailing anxiousness about our times, finances, children, parents, government, and world situation. The P.R.A.Y. with Passion Conference gives practical tools for praying to God and also listening to His directions for how to deal with the challenging times in which we live.
What can someone expect if they attend a P.R.A.Y. with Passion Conference?
Those who come can expect to be in the presence of the Holy Spirit. They can expect to hear deep, practical application of the Scripture. They will be blessed with a 3 minute DVD titled, “Lord, You Are,” which they can take home and that will help them memorize 26 of God’s A-Z divine attributes. They’ll receive prayer tips and prayer journaling tools.
What do people take away from a P.R.A.Y. with Passion Conference?
Joy! Renewed zeal for praying more purposefully and living more passionately for Christ. A list of 26 of God’s A-Z divine attributes they can memorize that will invigorate their prayer life. Fresh, practical ways to praise, repent, ask, and yield to God. Prayer journaling tips and tools.

How is a P.R.A.Y. with Passion Conference funded; by the host church or by your ministry?
The conference is funded through my non-profit ministry, Hill Country Ministries, whose mission is to spread God’s Word and love. Christians who want to be a part of the exciting work God is doing can donate airline miles, hotel awards, or donate financially to help underwrite this project. All gifts are tax deductible and very appreciated!
Do you provide prayer and promotional resources for a church to use if they’re hosting a P.R.A.Y. with Passion Conference?
Yes! Yes! We’re excited to offer the Listen UP! Conference. It is the follow-up conference that picks up where we leave off at the P.R.A.Y. with Passion Conference. It focuses on how to better discern God’s voice so we walk in His ways and empowerment.
What’s been the response to Listen UP?
Great! People are anxious to learn how to better discern God’s voice in the midst of all the voices vying for our attention.
