It Does Matter

My thought following how tragic the death toll was over the weekend?  “Did the people who died know Jesus as Lord and Savior?”  It’s a frightening thought if you contemplate it. Why? Because we live in an age where it’s not uncommon for people to reduce the afterlife to either nothing….that death is the cessation of existence, or to be deceived into thinking if you are a good person you’ll go to heaven. The number of people who take the Bible seriously and that salvation through Christ is the only way to heaven is dwindling. Just as Jesus said it would be. People who say it doesn’t matter who you worship as long as you worship someone or something are wrong. It matters to the LORD OF ALL THE EARTH. (Joshua 3:11)

Why would the LORD OF ALL THE EARTH be okay with people following other gods? He isn’t. He’s the Savior of mankind and the only One to whom we’re to bow and follow. It matters to Him. It matters for all people…for eternity. We must pray and share Christ at every opportunity! Thank you for sharing 365 with others.
