Debbie's Bio
Debbie Taylor Williams, founder of Hill Country Ministries, a non-profit 501© 3 dedicated to spreading God’s Word and love, is a sought out national Christian speaker and author. Best known as a passionate Biblical expositor, Debbie uses practical illustrations and humor to communicate Biblical truths to Christians of all ages and walks of life. She has written 7 books and produced numerous video driven Bible studies, including The Plan A Mom In a Plan B World, The Plan A Woman In a Plan B World, Pray With Purpose, Live With Passion; Prayers of My Heart; If God Is In Control, Why Do I Have A Headache?; If God Is In Control, Why Am I A Basket Case, and Discovering His Passion.
Debbie is the recipient of the 2019 National Mother of Achievement honor.
She is a religion columnist for the Kerrville Daily Times, a guest columnist to The Christian Post, a charter writer for Bible Gateway’s BGB2 blog, a writer for MomLife Today and for A Wife Like Me. In addition, she is published in P31 Woman and other magazines. Debbie has served on the faculty of the Michigan Marantha Writers Conference. As well as enjoying Debbie in print, you may have seen her as a television guest on Life Today with James Robison, DayStar, Babbie’s House, At Home Live!, Family Net, The Harvest Show, Atlanta Live, Rejoice! Debbie is the founder of P.R.A.Y. with Passion Conference that she is taking throughout the nation; equipping Christians in 45 states to pray more purposefully and live more passionately for Christ.
Debbie is a graduate of Texas Tech with a BS in Family Studies. She has been married to her college sweetheart, Keith, for 43 years. They reside in Kerrville, Texas and are blessed with two two married children and 5 grandchildren. When Debbie isn’t on the road speaking or at home writing, you’ll find her enjoying time with family, golfing, hiking, or fishing.
Debbie’s spiritual investment in others was acknowledged when she was recognized as Kerrville’s 2000 Woman of the Year.
