Esther Bible Study
About the Study
Although God’s name is not mentioned in the book of Esther, every page is full of God, who hides Himself behind every word. The book of Esther tells the story of a Hebrew girl who was hidden away for God’s purpose and then, when the time was right…was brought to the front to work out His plan. God used Queen Esther—who was willing to risk her own life—to save His people Israel, so that they might bless the whole world through Jesus Christ. Jude Bible Study
About the Study
What is the shortest book in the Bible? If you said Jude, you’re close, but actually it is the fifth shortest book with only 25 verses. So why take the time to study the book of Jude? The reason is because it is filled with important words for Christians.
In this three-week study you’ll be both encouraged and challenged.
Topics include:
- Warnings about who and what is infiltrating our churches
- Angelic majesties
- The judgement to come
- The last days
- What is meant by praying in the Holy Spirit
- What it means to be devoid of the Spirit
- The importance of mercy
- How a believer can keep from stumbling in their walk with God
- How to stand blameless before the Lord
Through the study of Jude, you’ll be awakened to the importance of guarding your faith and being mindful of what you are being taught. In addition, you’ll be encouraged and equipped to stand for the Christian faith.
Accompanying videos and podcasts will deepen your understanding of Jude’s words and show you how you can walk out your faith in everyday life.

End Times Bible Study
Join us for Spring Women’s Bible Study!
Jesus taught about it. Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, Daniel, Hosea, Micah, Joel, Paul, James, Peter, and John, among others, were inspired by the Holy Spirit to write about it. Write about what? The prophesied last days. The end times. The Day of the Lord. Bible scholars state that at least 25% of the Bible is prophecy and half of the prophecies are still to be fulfilled. Yet often Christians don’t know what the Bible says about the end times. In fact, some Christians avoid the subject even though Jesus called John up to heaven in order to reveal what was going to happen in the last days, which he recorded in Revelation.
End Times: What You Should Know, What You Can Do is not a verse-by-verse study of Revelation nor is it a prediction of when the Lord is going to return. Only our Heavenly Father knows that. Rather, it is a Biblically based study of what the Bible tells us about the end times and how we are to live in light of them. Topics include:
- The Reasons for End Times Prophecies
- The Reliability of Prophecy
- The Reality of the Rapture
- The Revealing of End Time Events
- The Rewards for Faithful Living
- How to Have Assurance of Salvation
Through this study, you’ll become knowledgeable of where the end times are mentioned in the Bible, the signs of the end times, and how the Bible tells us to live in light of the end times and Christ’s return.
Accompanying videos will deepen your understanding of end time events and answer the question, “what can I do to prepare for the end times and help others prepare?”

Become a First Responder
Standing at the front of the room, women’s ministry leader Pat, led a discussion on “Experiencing Grace and Peace in Cultural Chaos,” my study of 1 Peter. The discussion centered on challenging situations Christians experience today. Pat summarized one point of discussion, saying, “first we respond by praying.” Her words brought forth images of first responders rushing into burning buildings and first responders helping flood victims. Likewise, Christ calls Christians to be first responders to the chaos in our culture by sharing with others how to know His grace and peace. Learn how to be a spiritual first responder. See Closed Doors Open
Holding my finger to the gate opener, I edged toward the closed gate. Would it open this time, I wondered? It didn’t. Putting my car in reverse, I backed up and approached the gate a second time. Again, it failed to open. Determined, I gave it the ole “third time is the charm” approach. It worked! Have you been attempting to get through a closed door yet failing? Why not try a different approach? Psalm 145:18 tells us God is near to all who call on Him in truth. Have you called on your Heavenly Father and asked Him how to approach a closed door? Call on God. His door is always open. Then, listen to how He directs you. Act on God’s instruction. Journal God’s answers to your prayers and your praises in Prayers of My Heart, a journal designed with you in mind.
Pull Aside for Spiritual Emergencies
Driving down the highway, I glanced in my rearview mirror and saw an ambulance with flashing lights speedily approaching. Pulling over, I noticed all the other cars did the same. It’s the law to pull over for an emergency vehicle. Why is it that we set aside our time and agenda for an earthly emergency vehicle but we don’t for spiritual emergencies? People are dying and going to hell. Christ wants to move through the streets of our cities and reach the unsaved. Will you pull aside from your agenda to join Christ and reach people who are living and dying without hope? Learn how to change the course of our homes and nation by joining me for a study of Acts. Discover how Christians who are yielded to God can alter the course of families, cities, and our nation.

Portobello or Poblano – It Makes a Difference
WATCH on YouTube. LISTEN on Podbean. LISTEN on Apple Podcasts
Talking and laughing with friends as we entered a restaurant, my husband asked about the poblano soup special. Thinking about a Portobello soup I’d had, I replied, “It’s mushroom. Delicious!” When the soup arrived, I realized my not paying close attention had caused me to steer Keith in the wrong direction. Paying attention isn’t only important when ordering. It’s important every day in our fast changing culture. Pro-Choice may sound nice, but Pro-Life saves babies. Black Lives Matter, but all lives matter. In Matthew 5:13, Christ calls us to be light. We can only do that if we study the Bible to know His truths. In Acts 17:11, the Berean Christians were commended because they searched the Scriptures daily to find out if the things they were being told were true. Can that be said of you? If not, select a Bible study, know what the Bible teaches. Be the light.

No, exercising won't prevent every disease. But, it does help us physically, mentally, and emotionally. We either take the time and effort to do it, or we don't. Regardless, we'll be affected by our choice. The same is true withRead more...
