Girlfriends, You Asked….
MELISSA & JENNIFER – AWESOME BOOK TABLE FRIENDS
SO HERE IT IS: The name of the eating plan that allowed me to lose unwanted fat SO I would be more fit to RUN THE RACE CHRIST HAS SET BEFORE ME.
BEFORE I give you the name of the book, would you please read 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 with me?
Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and that you are not your own? For you have been bought with a price; therefore glorify God in your body.
Our bodies are important to God, but for the right reasons: Christ lives in them through the Holy Spirit. Gal 2:20. Our goal in being fit is to glorify God in our bodies and to be as healthy as possible so we can walk in the good works HE has prepared for us to walk in. Eph 2:10
Drum roll….”The Fat Flush Plan” by Ann Louise Gittleman
May I also suggest that before you rush to your local store or order online, that you kneel and pray; that you ask your Lord God to give you the right reason to want to lose weight and that He help you break any enslavements you have to anything you take into your body?
Pray now.
I’ll be giving you tips and hints along the way if you want to check back. “Comment” at the end of the posts with your questions/progress, etc. You can just use your first name or even initials if you want to be anonymous. Also, under the “Comment” section, it says “Author” for some reason, which makes most of us feel like we need to look around the room to see what author is there to type for us. But, it really means YOU. Just type in your name, comment, etc.
Finally, this isn’t a sales job, but she suggests you journal while going through your weight loss. I would be honored if you’re going to purchase a journal, to get mine, which is called Prayers of My Heart. It has 3 sections that work great with the plan. The first is a calendar where you can record what you eat each day. The 2nd section is called “Week at a Glance” and it is like a spread sheet. I would LOVE for you to keep the LORD as your first thought and this is where you would record a different attribute of God each day for which you praise Him. I’ll show you how to do it as we go along. The last section is lines for your free flowing thoughts, prayers, etc. You can get Prayers of My Heart HERE.
Love you and pray that you’ll be successful in breaking enslavements and glorifying God in your body – which I’m trusting you HAVE presented to Him. “I urge you brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of worship. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.” Romans 12:1-2
If you haven’t checked out the HOPE verses yet, they’re in my prior blog post. MUNCH MUNCH MUNCH on the WORD! You can’t eat too much of it! 🙂

Hi Debbie! It was a wonderful weekend with you in Long Branch. I've been remembering to munch! munch! munch! I woke up this morning and had my prayer time first thing and promptly fell asleep so, there is work to be done in this area, but one munch at a time!
I have a small group biblestudy at Jacksonville Chapel and today we continued our study of James, but the amazing thing to me was how many of the women were bringing truth that stuck with them from the weekend. It was so exciting and the Spirit is moving in the hearts of these women and this woman especially!
I put my order in with the Lord for mind flush and fat flush…so I would love having your prayers. I am praying for you and your ministry.
Much Love & Gratitude, Wendy
Dearest Debbie, thank you so much for giving us so much to munch, munch, munch on at the retreat. One thing that I noticed is that, you gave us scriptures on hope, discernment and freedom, and after communion, I was filled with so much love and an abundance of gratitude. And I wasn't the only one, I spoke to 2 friends who were experiencing the same thing. Isn't it interesting, it's the fruit of the spirit in us. With so much gratitude I thank you for showing me what everlasting Love My Father God has for me. I can't thank you enough. Keeping you in my prayers, and thanking God for your darling husband that let's you go and share God's love with other women. God Bless you, overflowing with His spirit, Leonor
Hebrews6:7 I love this verse on Hope
"Because God wanted to make the unchanging nature of his purpose very clear to the heirs of what was promised, He confirmed it with an oath. God did this so that, by two unchangeable things in which it is impossible for God to lie. We who have fled to take hold of the hope offered to us may be greatly encouraged. We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure. It enters the inner sanctuary behind the curtain where Jesus, who went before us, has entered on our behalf. He has become a high priest forever, in the order of Melchizedek" 🙂 🙂
Wendy and Leonor, so good to hear from you! God's Word is powerful and it DOES change us! It "flushes" toxic thoughts and habits out of us and makes us stronger to run the race God has set before us. You go girls! Keep munching on the Scripture and His healthy foods!
Love, Debbie
