CAPTAIN OF THE HOSTS
“…. I indeed come now as captain of the host of the Lord.’
And Joshua fell on his face to the earth, and bowed down, and said to him, ‘What has my lord to say to his servant?’ The captain of the Lord’s host said to Joshua, ‘Remove your sandals from your feet, for the place where you are standing is holy.’ And Joshua did so.”
Joshua 5:14-15
Do you have a whopper of a problem before you? Perhaps you’re even where the Lord has led you, but the situation seems more than you can handle. When Joshau found himself in a tough place, the Lord appeared to him and introduced Himself as Captain of the Host of the Lord. Joshua bowed down and said, “What has my lord to say to his servant?” The Lord told Joshua that the place he was standing was holy ground; then told him what to do. May each of us bow before the Captain of the Host of the Lord this morning and follow His instructions.
CAPTAIN of the HOSTS of the LORD, I bow before You and praise You. Speak to my heart and lead me today.
