Seed Ministry

Jesus told the parable of the sower who went out to sow seed; that some seed fell beside the road and was trampled, some seed fell on rocky soil and withered away, some seed fell among thorns and was choked out, but some seed fell on good soil and grew and produced a crop a hundred times as great. Luke 8:5-15

Consider joining me in our Seed Ministry.  What is the Seed Ministry?  It is where we spread the Gospel to others. Attached is “The Dollar Bill” seed ministry.  Here are the steps.

  1. Print “The Dollar.” (There are 3 to a page.)
  2. Attach a crisp new dollar bill to “The Dollar” poem.
  3. Take it in your car and hand to a person in the grocery store, gas station, or waiter. As you do, simply smile and say, “Have a nice day,” then continue on your way. You will not know until heaven if the seed you planted was what God used to bring that person to salvation.
  4. Pray that the person will open their heart and respond to the Holy Spirit’s conviction.

How Does a Person Come to Salvation

By Faith. Romans 10:17 explains, “Faith comes from hearing and hearing by the word of Christ.”

As a Result of Conviction of Sin by the Holy Spirit. Jesus explained in John 16:8, “He, (the Holy Spirit), when He comes, will convict the world concerning sin and righteousness and judgment.”

With a Repentant Heart.  When people asked Peter what to do to be saved, he said to them, “Repent, and each of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins; and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.” Acts 2:38

How Can A Person Be Sure They're Saved

Romans 10:9, assures us, “If you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.”

Romans 10:13 assures us, “Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.”
