Psalm 52:1

Do you ever feel like things are changing so quickly, you can barely keep up? In the midst of change, it’s a blessing to know there are some things we can count on staying the same. Consider the following that you can count on enduring forever. 

“The lovingkindness of God endures all day long” (Psalm 52:1). 

“Splendid and majestic is His work, and His righteousness endures forever” (Psalm 111:3). 

“His praise endures forever” (Psalm 111:10). 

“Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and Your dominion endures throughout all generations” (Psalm 145:13). 

“His love endures forever” (1 Chronicles 16:34). 

“His Word endures forever” (1 Peter 1:25). 

Perhaps King Nebuchadnezzar summed up God’s enduring nature and reign best when he said, “I, Nebuchadnezzar, raised my eyes toward heaven and my reason returned to me, and I blessed the Most High and praised and honored Him who lives forever; for His dominion is an everlasting dominion, and His kingdom endures from generation to generation” (Daniel 4:34). 

If you’re looking around and wondering what the future holds, you can rest in the assurance that God’s love, Word, praise, righteousness, and kingdom endure forever. 

Heavenly Father, I praise and thank You for Your ENDURING love, praise, righteousness, Word, and kingdom.
