Romans 3:29
Praise God, Non Jews are “In”
Have you ever appreciated a Biblical truth but gained a deeper appreciation while reading the Bible? That happened to me while teaching Acts 10. The Lord gave Peter a vision and told him to go to Cornelius’s house, a non-Jew, and share the message of salvation with his household. Peter, who once thought that God was the God the Jews only, was illumined and led by the Spirit to say, “I most certainly understand now that God is not one to show partiality, but in every nation the man who fears Him and does what is right is welcome to Him.” (Acts 10:34-35)
Paul reinforced this miraculously good news in Romans 3:29. “Or is God the God of Jews only? Is He not the God of Gentiles also?”
If the God of the Jews had not extended the gift of salvation through Jesus to those who are not Jewish by birth, all people besides Jews would have been excluded from heaven for eternity. The good news is, the God of the Jews opened the door for non-Jews to be saved. Could I hear a hallelujah?
GOD of the GENTILES, we praise You for extending the glorious gift of salvation to those who are not Jews. Hallelujah! Hallelujah!

God of All the Earth
Are you familiar with the concept of “one world government”? What do you think about it? Would it work? Who would rule it?
Philosopher Dante Alighieri supported it. Philosopher Thomas Hobbes opposed it on the basis that humans are innately morally corrupt. Attempts by the League of Nations and United Nations to maintain international peace and security have failed.
Jesus referred to Satan as “the ruler of this world” in John 14:30 and Satan maintained he was when he offered the world to Jesus in Matthew 4:8-9. One only needs to look around at the violence in our world to see what Satan’s rule looks like.
So where do we stand? Has God forgotten us? No. Isaiah 54:5 assures us, “For your husband is your Maker, Whose name is the Lord of hosts; and your Redeemer is the Holy One of Israel, Who is called the God of All the Earth.” This prophetic assurance to the nation of Israel extends to believers who have been grafted into the vine of Christ.
Although Satan has temporary rule of the earth, his reign is term limited. (See Revelation 20.) In addition, all who turn from Satan to Jesus are immediately born into a new kingdom, Christ’s kingdom, of love, peace, and joy. His reign begins with the believer’s salvation.
When Christ, God of All the Earth, returns, He will establish the utopia for which our soul yearns. Have you entered into His kingdom by rejecting Satan’s rule and confessing Jesus as Lord and King? Are you telling others about the two gods and their kingdoms; warning and telling them the good news?
GOD of ALL the EARTH, we can’t wait for You to come and reign over the world. Thank You for giving us a glimpse of Your peace through the Holy Spirit’s reign in our hearts.

Whoo Hoo! And I don’t say that lightly. Thunderous applause should erupt upon hearing that God is not only the God of the Jews. He is also the God of those who are not born a Jew but who have placed their faith in the Savior Jesus Christ. Gentiles, friends who are not born a Jew, if you are a Christian you have been grafted into the promises God made to Abraham. Have you given hearty praise to God for including you in His plan of eternal salvation? You are not going down in the flame. You are going up to the glorious presence of the Lord God Almighty and Son Jesus Christ.
“…is God the God of the Jews only? Is He not the God of the Gentiles also? Yes, of Gentiles also.” Romans 3:29.
GOD of the GENTILES, we praise You for including us in the blessings and inheritance of the Jews.

Praise to GOD of the JEWS
“Or is God the God of Jews only? Is He not the God of Gentiles also?”
“He’s Got the Whole World in His Hands” is an American spiritual that was first published in 1927. However, long before the song, God revealed Himself to Abraham, Moses, and others as the God of the Jews. It is with great praise that both Jews and Gentiles celebrate, “God is our God!”
GOD OF THE JEWS, we praise You for being the God of the world.
