Trusting God

Disheartened or Confident?

01/30/2026

Have you ever come to the conclusion that there are few people you can really trust? When we’re told one thing and then find out the person never intended to follow through on their promises, it’s disheartening. That’s why we appreciate descriptions of God like we find in Psalm 18:30, “As for God, His way is blameless.”

Once again the Bible reiterates what we need and long to hear—that we can look to and fully trust our Lord. He is blameless, which in Hebrew means “whole, entire, sound, complete, wholesome, unimpaired, having integrity, entirely in accord with truth and fact.”

Reread the definition of blameless and celebrate and praise the Lord for who He is. Confidently voice your faith in Jesus Christ. Let the integrity of the blameless Lord shine through you.

Lord, thank You that I can look to and trust You, Your Word and ways, BLAMELESS One!

Do You Have a Problem?

12/04/2025

Do you have a problem? Are you in a quandary regarding what to do about something? Have you talked to Jesus about it? Why talk to Him? The answer is because Jesus is a God of intelligence, skill, and insight. Look no further than the creation which proves His wisdom and understanding.

Proverbs 3:19 tells us, “The LORD by wisdom founded the earth, By understanding, He established the heavens.”

The Hebrew word for understanding in Proverbs 3:19 means “intelligence, skill, and insight.”

In other words, when we look at the earth and heavens, we see evidence of God’s intelligence, skill, and insight; His understanding of how all things work to His glory.

You can trust the same God who created the heavens and earth to give you wisdom, intelligence, skill, and insight for your daily needs, decisions, and relationships. Pray and listen to His still quiet voice. Walk by God’s Words and Spirit.

Lord, thank You for Your UNDERSTANDING, Your intelligence, skill, and insight. I praise You that You are an approachable God to whom I can come regarding problems and decisions. Thank You for the wisdom and insight You provide.

Straight to the Point

08/19/2025

Do you agree that personal problems can seem overwhelming at times?

What about national and international problems? Do they cause you to shake your head and wonder what the world’s coming to?

What about health issues? Is your health or someone else’s health a concern?

Then there are financial issues, parenting, marital, and work challenges that can be ongoing struggles.

Jesus interrupts our conflicted worries and gets straight to an important point that each of us must remember. “In the world, you have tribulation, (pressure, affliction, oppression, and distress), but take courage, I have overcome the world” (John 16:33).

Is that a good word for you to hear today? Jesus is bigger than the world and its problems. We can look to Him, to His Word, and empowerment for whatever we face.

Jesus has overcome the world. He is present to help you. Look up to the Overcomer.

Lord Jesus Christ, You are the OVERCOMER. I praise You for the peace, direction and empowerment You give me as I trust in You.
