Praise to the KING OF GLORY

“Lift up your heads, O gates,
And be lifted up, O ancient doors,
That the KING of GLORY may come in!
Who is the  KING of GLORY?
The Lord strong and mighty,
The Lord mighty in battle.
Lift up your heads, O gates,
And lift them up, O ancient doors,
That the  KING of GLORY may come in!
Who is this  KING of GLORY?
The Lord of hosts,
He is the  KING of GLORY.”

There are many kinds of kings: tyrant kings, good kings, lazy kings, aggressive kings. So think with me. What kind of a king do you want to rule over you? What kind of a king do you want to be subject to?
Our leader and king is the King of Glory. The word “glory” in Psalm 24 means “majesty, splendor.” We’re the most blessed of all people.

KING OF GLORY, majestic splendor, we lift up our hands and hearts in praise of You.
