REST
“Rest in the LORD and wait patiently for Him; do not fret because of him who prospers in his way, because of the man who carries out wicked schemes.”
Psalm 37:7
REST. Genesis to Revelation, “rest” is a subject the Bible addresses. In our stressed out generation, it would serve us well to do a Biblical study of the subject. God rested on the 7th day of creation. He established a Sabbath rest. God invites us to enter into His rest. Yes, there are men who carry out wicked schemes. But God tells us to rest in Him and wait patiently for Him. I’m thankful that in God there is rest.
Lord, thank You for inviting me to enter into Your REST! Thank You for the Sabbath REST You established. I praise You!
