MEEK

“I, Paul, myself urge you by the meekness and gentleness of Christ—”
2 Corinthians 10:1

Christ’s nature amazes me. He is strong and bold. Yet He is also MEEK and gentle. Even more amazing is that God has created a means by which we can live by Christ’s divine nature. Paul recognizes this and explains that he is acting on the basis of Christ’s meekness. The process by which we can live by Christ’s higher nature rather than by our flawed nature is called “being filled with the Spirit.” (Ephesians 5:18) You and I can daily pray, “Lord, fill me with Your Holy Spirit.”

Lord, You are all powerful, and You are also MEEK. Please fill me with Your Holy Spirit so I live and relate to others as You would.

  1. Debbie,

Thank you for your message in Grenola, KS. It was very uplifting and inspiring, not only that but I do remember your presentation and guidelines. I'm going to take the PRAY and use Praise, Repent, Ask and Yield to my church school kids as well as the ABC's of God's atributes. Again, thank you for coming to rurual America.
